What happens if the event is cancelled due to weather? (ie. Hurricane)

In the event we are forced to cancel CPO Pride Day due to a storm or any other emergent event, we will execute the agenda below:

Contact Venue & Rescheduling

We will contact. the venue to officially cancel the event and try to reschedule it. In years past we have not been able to reschedule the event but will always try our best to do so.

Cancel Accommodations & Flights for VIP's

The CPO Pride Day Jax Treasurer & Administrative Team will contact any VIPs to assist in canceling of their entire itinerary prescheduled to travel into Florida.

Contact All Who Registered

We will contact everyone who registered via email and inform them of the cancellation and process moving forward.

Donate Food

All food will be donated to a local shelter as previously executed in years past.

Ship Swag

All swag due to be picked up at WILL CALL or picked-up from a distribution location will be distributed at new dates and times AFTER the storm has passed and the committee can regroup to make this happen. Those who want their order shipped will have to pay shipping out of pocket and provide a mailing address.

No Refund Policy

It takes a lot of time and money to put on this free event. If the event does not take place, there will be no refunds as many things are prepaid. This includes sponsorships, donations and swag sales.
