CPO Pride Day Jacksonville is one of Northeast Florida’s premier Navy heritage events, bringing together active-duty, Reserve, retired, and veteran Chief Petty Officers in a powerful display of leadership, mentorship, tradition, and service.
What began as a local gathering rooted in Chief Petty Officer pride has grown into a major annual event that unites the CPO Mess across commands, generations, and communities. Each year, CPO Pride Day JAX provides Chief Selectees and Chief Petty Officers the opportunity to network, reconnect with shipmates, receive leadership insight, celebrate Navy heritage, and give back to the veteran and military community that continues to support our Sailors and families.
As we prepare for the 12th Annual CPO Pride Day Jacksonville, this event remains focused on one mission: honoring the legacy of the United States Navy Chief Petty Officer while helping shape the leaders who will carry that legacy forward.
The mission of CPO Pride Day JAX is to strengthen the bond of the Chief Petty Officer Mess through mentorship, heritage, leadership, fellowship, and community service.
Chief Petty Officers have long served as the backbone of the United States Navy. They are technical experts, deckplate leaders, mentors, advisors, and guardians of the standards, customs, and traditions that define our Navy. Chiefs bridge the gap between officers and enlisted Sailors, ensuring that experience, accountability, and leadership remain at the center of mission readiness.
CPO Pride Day JAX brings that responsibility to life by creating an environment where seasoned Chiefs, retired Chiefs, veterans, and newly selected Chief Petty Officers can come together with purpose. The event provides Chief Selectees with access to generations of knowledge, real-world leadership lessons, and meaningful connections before they officially enter the CPO Mess.
This is more than a celebration. It is an investment in the future of Navy leadership.

CPO Pride Day Jacksonville is planned, coordinated, and executed by a dedicated team of volunteer Chief Petty Officers, retired Chiefs, veterans, and community supporters who believe in preserving the heritage of the CPO Mess.
Our committee represents the very best of the Navy Chief community: service before self, pride in tradition, commitment to excellence, and a deep desire to give back. Every detail of this event is made possible through months of planning, coordination, sponsorship outreach, volunteer support, and partnership with organizations that believe in the mission.
From event logistics and registration to sponsorships, mentorship, ceremonies, vendor coordination, community outreach, and charitable giving, every part of CPO Pride Day JAX is built by volunteers who understand the importance of honoring those who came before us while preparing those who will lead next.
CPO Pride Day JAX is designed to be meaningful, memorable, and mission-focused.
The event brings together the experience and influence of active-duty Chiefs, retired Chiefs, veterans, civic leaders, community partners, and supporters from across Northeast Florida and beyond. It creates a space where Chief Selectees can learn from those who have walked the path before them, while current and retired Chiefs reconnect with the Mess and continue their responsibility to mentor, guide, and lead.
Our approach is centered on five core pillars:
We honor the traditions, history, and legacy of the United States Navy Chief Petty Officer. From the establishment of the rank to the continued impact of Chiefs across the Fleet, heritage remains the foundation of everything we do.
CPO Pride Day JAX gives Chief Selectees direct access to seasoned leaders who can share lessons learned, expectations, challenges, and wisdom earned through years of service.
The event reunites shipmates, builds new relationships, strengthens command connections, and reminds every Chief that the Mess extends far beyond one command, one duty station, or one generation.
Through conversations, shared experiences, and formal and informal mentorship, CPO Pride Day JAX reinforces the leadership responsibilities that come with wearing the anchor.
CPO Pride Day JAX is committed to giving back. Proceeds from the event support Northeast Florida veteran and military-focused organizations that serve active-duty service members, veterans, and their families.
The transition from First Class Petty Officer to Chief Petty Officer is one of the most meaningful milestones in a Sailor’s career. It is not simply a promotion. It is a transformation in responsibility, expectation, and identity.
CPO Pride Day JAX provides Chief Selectees with an opportunity to see the larger Mess in action. They witness the strength of the anchor, the pride of generations, and the responsibility that comes with becoming part of something much bigger than themselves.
For current and retired Chiefs, the event is a reminder that leadership does not end at the brow, the gate, or retirement. The responsibility to mentor, guide, and uphold the legacy of the Mess continues for life.
For the Jacksonville community, this event showcases the pride, professionalism, camaraderie, and service-minded spirit of the United States Navy Chief Petty Officer.
CPO Pride Day JAX would not be possible without the support of our partners, sponsors, volunteers, and community advocates.
We are proud to work alongside organizations and supporters who understand the importance of honoring military service, strengthening leadership, and supporting veterans and their families. Our partnerships with the City of Jacksonville, VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, the Jacksonville Naval Museum, local businesses, veteran-owned companies, nonprofit organizations, sponsors, and volunteers allow this event to continue growing in both reach and impact.
Every partner plays a role in the mission. Whether through sponsorship, donated services, logistical support, volunteer hours, vendor participation, or community advocacy, each contribution helps create a professional, meaningful, and memorable event for the CPO Mess and our Chief Selectees.
Together, we are not just hosting an event. We are building a legacy.
The objective of CPO Pride Day JAX is to provide an unforgettable and meaningful event where Chief Selectees and Chief Petty Officers can gather in unity, strengthen professional relationships, reconnect with shipmates past and present, and display the unmatched camaraderie of the United States Navy Chief Petty Officer Mess.
Through this event, we aim to:
Your attendance, sponsorship, volunteer service, and support matter. For more than a decade, CPO Pride Day JAX has grown because of the Chiefs, commands, families, partners, and community supporters who believe in this mission.

As we move toward the 12th Annual CPO Pride Day Jacksonville, our focus remains clear: honor the past, lead in the present, and shape the future.
Each year, the event continues to grow in purpose, professionalism, and community impact. With the support of our volunteers, sponsors, partners, and the CPO Mess, CPO Pride Day JAX will continue to serve as a cornerstone event during CPO Heritage Week and a proud reflection of the Navy Chief community in Northeast Florida.
We invite commands, CPO Messes, Chief Selectees, retired Chiefs, veterans, sponsors, vendors, and community partners to join us as we continue building on more than a decade of tradition, service, and leadership.
CPO Pride Day JAX is where heritage meets mentorship, where the Mess comes together, and where the next generation of Chiefs is reminded that the anchor is not just worn — it is lived.

Create an event that connects our community with generations of past and present Chief Petty Officers, celebrates naval leadership, and honors the traditions and roles of the "CHIEF" in the U.S. Navy. Our goal is to build bridges of knowledge, leadership, and friendship among all who proudly wear "The Fouled Anchor."

Chief Petty Officers are instrumental in promoting teamwork within the Navy. Their experience, leadership, and guidance provide a strong foundation for collaboration and cooperation among the team. By setting an example of professionalism and dedication, Chief Petty Officers can foster a positive and productive work environment where every team member feels valued and supported.

Chief Petty Officers are often known for their passion because they have a strong sense of dedication and commitment to their work and their teams. As leaders in the military, they are responsible for guiding and mentoring junior enlisted personnel, and they take great pride in their roles.
