The mission of the U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officers (CPO's) is to provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior sailors, while also upholding the traditions and standards of the Navy. They are responsible for fostering a positive command climate, ensuring professionalism, and promoting a culture of excellence within the ranks. Additionally, they serve as a vital link between officers and enlisted personnel and are charged with the important task of developing the next generation of Navy leaders. CPO Pride Day Jacksonville culminates the talent and experience of both active duty and retired Chief Petty Officers in an event that showcases traditions and provides opportunities for newly selected Chief Petty Officers to network, seek guidance, and expand their level of knowledge before officially entering the CPO mess.
CPO Pride Day is a dynamic event that has been thriving in Jacksonville for the past decade. It showcases the talents of both active-duty CPOs and retired Chiefs who have transitioned their skills and experience into the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds. Organizing an event of this magnitude takes months of planning and resources, made possible by our incredible volunteer team. Each committee member is passionately committed to bringing this vision to life and delivering an unforgettable experience.
This event wouldn't be possible without our incredible partners: the City of Jacksonville, VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, the Jacksonville Naval Museum, and our amazing sponsors, supporters, and volunteers across Florida. We believe in the power of collaboration, and every individual brings unique skills that make them invaluable to our organization.
Create an event that connects our community with generations of past and present Chief Petty Officers, celebrates naval leadership, and honors the traditions and roles of the "CHIEF" in the U.S. Navy. Our goal is to build bridges of knowledge, leadership, and friendship among all who proudly wear "The Fouled Anchor."
Chief Petty Officers are instrumental in promoting teamwork within the Navy. Their experience, leadership, and guidance provide a strong foundation for collaboration and cooperation among the team. By setting an example of professionalism and dedication, Chief Petty Officers can foster a positive and productive work environment where every team member feels valued and supported.
Chief Petty Officers are often known for their passion because they have a strong sense of dedication and commitment to their work and their teams. As leaders in the military, they are responsible for guiding and mentoring junior enlisted personnel, and they take great pride in their roles.
