By registering for, purchasing admission or merchandise for, volunteering at, competing in, sponsoring, vending at, attending, entering the premises of, or otherwise participating in any activity associated with 2026 CPO Heritage Week and/or CPO Pride Day Jacksonville, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to the following terms.
These terms apply to attendees, registrants, CPO Selectees, Active Duty personnel, Reservists, retirees, veterans, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, guests, spectators, command representatives, Mess-at-Large registrants, competition participants, and any other persons participating in or attending an associated activity.
Participation in CPO Heritage Week and CPO Pride Day Jacksonville is entirely voluntary.
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
Participation in these activities involves known and unknown risks, including the possibility of bodily injury, illness, heat-related illness, dehydration, allergic reaction, falls, collisions, property damage, permanent disability, or death.
YOU VOLUNTARILY AND KNOWINGLY ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR ATTENDANCE OR PARTICIPATION, WHETHER THOSE RISKS ARE KNOWN, UNKNOWN, FORESEEABLE, OR UNFORESEEABLE, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Each participant is responsible for determining whether they are physically and medically capable of safely participating in any activity.
No person should participate in a physical activity or competition if they have a medical, physical, or other condition that would make participation unsafe.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by registering for, attending, volunteering at, or participating in an event or activity, you voluntarily release, waive, and discharge the following parties, collectively referred to as the “Released Parties”:
You release the Released Parties from claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, or liabilities arising out of or relating to your attendance, participation, travel, presence on event premises, use of facilities, or participation in event activities.
THIS RELEASE IS EXPRESSLY INTENDED, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY FLORIDA LAW, TO INCLUDE CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF ONE OR MORE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES.
This provision does not waive any right or claim that applicable law does not permit a participant to waive.
Participation in any CPO Selectee competition, fitness activity, run, bicycle activity, march, drill, cadence, volunteer activity, or other physically demanding portion of CPO Heritage Week is voluntary.
Participants are responsible for:
Competition participation may also require authorization from the participant's command or designated leadership.
The organizers reserve the absolute right to stop, modify, postpone, disqualify, or prohibit any individual's participation when necessary for safety, good order and discipline, venue requirements, or event operations.
A separate activity-specific waiver may be required before participation in certain competitions or activities.
Participants acknowledge that medical emergencies may occur.
If emergency medical treatment is believed necessary and you are unable to provide instructions, you authorize event personnel to contact emergency medical services on your behalf.
The organizers do not represent or guarantee that physicians, nurses, athletic trainers, emergency medical technicians, ambulances, or other medical personnel will be immediately available at every event or activity.
Any medical treatment, ambulance transportation, hospital care, medication, or related expense is the responsibility of the individual receiving such services or their applicable insurance carrier.
Participants are solely responsible for their own personal property.
The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, damaged, or unattended property, including but not limited to:
Do not leave valuables unattended.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Except where otherwise required by law:
NO REFUNDS, RETURNS, EXCHANGES, CREDITS, CHARGEBACKS, OR TRANSFERS WILL BE PROVIDED.

The purchaser is responsible for reviewing all order information before submitting payment.
Each registration option provides only those items specifically identified in the product or registration description at the time of purchase.
For example, an Event Access + Lunch registration does not include an event T-shirt, hat, challenge coin, or other merchandise unless expressly stated.
Purchasers are responsible for confirming what is included before checkout.
The fact that another participant purchased or received a different package does not entitle a purchaser to merchandise or benefits not included with their own registration.
When one individual registers or pays on behalf of a command, CPO Mess, organization, group, or multiple attendees, that individual represents that they are authorized to submit the registration and purchase.
The submitting Point of Contact is responsible for:
CPO Pride Day Jacksonville is not responsible for disagreements between a group purchaser and members of the group regarding payments, reimbursements, selections, attendance, or distribution of merchandise.
Event merchandise is ordered in advance based on projected registration demand and manufacturing requirements.
Participants acknowledge that:
If an item becomes unavailable because of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the organizers, the organizers may, at their discretion, provide a comparable substitution, arrange later distribution, or provide another reasonable remedy.
Participants are responsible for following published instructions for merchandise distribution and pickup.
Failure to pick up merchandise during a designated distribution period does not create an entitlement to a refund.
If shipping is requested or becomes necessary, the participant may be responsible for all associated postage, packaging, handling, or shipping costs.
The organizers are not responsible for merchandise that cannot be delivered because inaccurate contact or mailing information was provided.
All dates, times, speakers, competitions, activities, entertainment, appearances, locations, menus, schedules, and event programming are subject to change.
The organizers reserve the right to:
A schedule change, speaker cancellation, competition change, or modification to programming does not constitute grounds for a refund.
CPO Heritage Week activities may occur indoors or outdoors and may be affected by weather.
Events may continue during rain or other weather conditions when organizers and venue officials determine it is reasonably safe to proceed.
The organizers shall not be responsible for delays, interruptions, relocation, modification, postponement, or cancellation caused by circumstances outside their reasonable control, including but not limited to:
REGISTRATION AND EVENT-RELATED FEES REMAIN NON-REFUNDABLE FOLLOWING A FORCE-MAJEURE CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT OTHERWISE REQUIRED BY LAW.
If an event is cancelled, organizers may attempt to reschedule activities or arrange alternative merchandise distribution; however, no rescheduled event is guaranteed.
Food already purchased or prepared may, where practical, be redirected or donated.
Merchandise that has already been manufactured may be distributed later. Shipping or delivery costs may be the responsibility of the purchaser.
Food service may be provided by the venue or third-party food-service providers.
Participants are responsible for determining whether any food or beverage is appropriate for their dietary needs.
Neither the organizers nor Released Parties guarantee that food will be free from:
Anyone with a severe food allergy or dietary restriction should make appropriate personal arrangements and communicate directly with event personnel when necessary.
Outside food and beverages may be prohibited by individual venue rules.
CPO Pride Day is an ALCOHOL FREE event! No exceptions!
Certain ancillary, sponsor, VIP, reception, or post-event activities may take place at locations where alcoholic beverages are available.
Where alcohol is served:
Never drink and drive.
Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from events unless expressly stated otherwise.
The organizers are not responsible for:
Participation begins and ends at the individual's own risk, including travel between Heritage Week locations.
Admission is subject to all rules, policies, security requirements, bag policies, food restrictions, prohibited-item policies, and instructions imposed by the applicable venue.
Participants may be subject to security screening.
Possession of a ticket, registration, credential, invitation, or merchandise package does not exempt an attendee from venue rules.
A participant who is denied entry or removed because of prohibited conduct, prohibited items, failure to comply with security procedures, intoxication, disruptive behavior, or violation of venue policies is not entitled to a refund.
Some CPO Heritage Week activities may occur aboard or adjacent to United States military installations.
Registration for an event does not guarantee access to a military installation.
Each participant is individually responsible for satisfying all applicable installation entry requirements, which may include:
Military commanders and security personnel retain complete authority over installation access.
If access is denied, suspended, delayed, or revoked by military authorities, CPO Pride Day Jacksonville cannot override that decision and is not responsible for resulting expenses, missed activities, or other losses.
CPO Heritage Week and CPO Pride Day Jacksonville are professional leadership, heritage, fellowship, training, competition, community-engagement, and fundraising events.
Attendees are expected to maintain appropriate standards of conduct.
The organizers reserve the right to refuse admission, remove an attendee, disqualify a competitor or team, or terminate participation for conduct including:
Removal or disqualification for misconduct does not create a right to a refund.
CPO Heritage Week and CPO Pride Day Jacksonville are public-facing events where photography, video recording, livestreaming, news coverage, social-media coverage, and other media activity may occur.
By entering an event area, you acknowledge that you may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, interviewed, or otherwise recorded.
To the extent permitted by law, you grant the organizers and their authorized partners permission to use your appearance, image, likeness, and voice captured incidentally during the event for legitimate purposes including:
No compensation is owed for incidental use of an attendee's appearance in event photography or recordings.
Sponsors, vendors, exhibitors, food providers, venues, transportation providers, merchants, and other participating organizations are independent parties.
Their presence at CPO Heritage Week or CPO Pride Day Jacksonville does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of their products or services.
Any purchase, agreement, transaction, advice, service, promotion, giveaway, or interaction between an attendee and a third party is between those parties.
CPO Pride Day Jacksonville is not responsible for the acts, omissions, representations, products, services, warranties, or contractual obligations of independent third parties.
CPO Pride Day Jacksonville, CPO Heritage Week Jacksonville, CPO Pride Day Jacksonville Association, and their organizers are independent and are not an official component of the United States Government, Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, or United States Navy.
Unless expressly stated otherwise by the applicable governmental entity, references to military commands, installations, ranks, titles, uniforms, traditions, vessels, insignia, terminology, or participating military personnel are for identification, historical, ceremonial, educational, or informational purposes and do not constitute official endorsement.
Participation by individual military members, commands, leaders, installations, or government representatives does not by itself constitute endorsement by the Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, United States Navy, or any other federal agency.
Any Department of Defense or military trademarks, seals, insignia, photographs, names, or other protected identifiers remain the property of their respective owners and are used only as legally authorized.
CPO Pride Day Jacksonville is conducted as a leadership, heritage, fellowship, training, community-engagement, and fundraising event.
Registration fees, sponsorships, merchandise sales, vendor fees, and other event revenue may be used to pay costs associated with producing and administering the event, with available proceeds supporting charitable and community causes consistent with the organization's mission.
Unless specifically identified as a tax-deductible charitable contribution and accompanied by appropriate documentation, purchases, registration fees, sponsorship payments, and merchandise transactions should not automatically be assumed to be tax deductible.
Participants and sponsors should consult their own tax professionals regarding the tax treatment of any payment.
By registering, purchasing, volunteering, competing, sponsoring, vending, attending, accepting event credentials or merchandise, or entering an event location, you acknowledge and agree that:
If you do not agree to these terms, do not register, purchase, attend, volunteer, compete, vend, sponsor, or participate.
